Raymond Russo, D.V.M.
As a young man, Dr. Raymond Russo started the Kingston Animal Hospital in the autumn of 1947. Sixty years later, we celebrated his 85th birthday in January 2007. He remains the incredibly special, caring, tireless, warm, gregarious, and utterly unique person he has always been. We continue to aspire to the extraordinary example he has set for us.

MY APOLOGIES AND MY DEEP THANKS
"I have often heard the comment that - you don't truly appreciate anything until it's lost. In recent months, I have found it especially applicable to an essential in life---health. We are now embarking on our 63rd year in practice, and aside from protracted bouts with undulant fever (Brucellosis), Lyme disease, hip replacement surgery and the like, I am grateful for having been generally physically robust---how else could I have answered the call, 24/7 ? Be that as it may, I feel particularly bad that after a fall in Seattle while celebrating our granddaughter's college graduation, I've had a succession of unforseen setbacks including hernia surgery, cataract surgery, and a painful and incapacitating back episode. I'm still involved, and with time, please be assured that I plan to be back. Why? Because I sincerely miss you, my friends and your wonderful pets--so very much. You have enriched my life and have been my - raison d'etre - for so many years. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful staff who have been so completely supportive, loyal and productive to our clientele. A deep bow to you all. " |
