Hospital Policies

APPOINTMENT POLICY
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate on an appointment basis. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. However, emergency cases are always given top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is possible. We respectfully request that clients arrive on time for their appointment. Late arrivals can disrupt the schedule and create delays for other clients who have arrived on time. We request 24 hours notice if you need to change your appointment.

PAYMENT POLICY
We strive continually to provide excellent care at reasonable fees. Because of the high cost of billing, full payment is expected at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Amercian Express as well as cash and personal checks.

PATIENT ARRIVAL POLICY
For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

MEDICATION REFILLS
To best serve your needs, we request that clients  call ahead for medication refills so that the medication can be put up and ready for you when you arrive. Please recognize that some medications may not be refillable without a veterinarian's authorization and that sometimes good medical practice as well as state and federal regulations require a re-evaluation of the patient before some medications can be refilled.

CELL PHONE USE

We respectfully request that clients refrain from using their cell phones in the exam rooms during office visits.
